Doing Social Good

The combined experiences of co-founders Beth Carls, Amy Looper and Mary Schenck-Ross provide the foundation for OneSeventeen Media’s success. As seasoned start-up veterans, the co-founders’ equally dedicated core team (some of whom have worked with the founders for as long as a dozen years) share the trio’s mission, commitment and undeniable enthusiasm, making the entire organization hum like a well oiled lean-mean-bootstrappin’-machine. The entire team lives to make a difference in the world with, and for, kids.
Beth and Amy were part of a founding team that took a $158M technology company public and Mary’s Intellectual Property helped raise over $20M for another company. Not ones to rest on their laurels, they formed OneSeventeen Media to be a part of a pioneering opportunity – specifically to capitalize on an exciting emerging sector of the economy dedicated to “harnessing the power of private enterprise for public benefit.”
The OneSeventeen Media crew is fully versed in social media, corporate strategy, marketing, start-ups, revenue generation and customer engagement through the value of innovation in youth-based social media tools.
